Introduction to Design

This offers you an overview of what graphic design is and the many professional opportunities it provides. You will be taken on a journey through the great works of past and present designers and introduced to fun, high-quality resources showing you the various industries that are centered around design. Here, you will become familiar with the vocabulary of visual communication and start putting design principles into practice. The main topics to cover here include

Here, you will learn how to use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign techniques to produce professional graphic materials:

The business of design

This part of the curriculum focuses on why it is important for you to market yourself and your work. You’ll begin to create and/or refine your professional portfolio and a personal identity system. You’ll also learn basic professional practices as well as how to further Your design education. Finally, you will produce a resume & portfolio using your personal design system based on your identity. This module would entail:

  • HOW TO VALUE CREATIVE WORK
  • FREELANCE VS. AGENCY
  • PREPARING YOUR PORTFOLIO
  • HANDLING A REAL-LIFE PROJECT
  • PITCHING AND SHOWCASE STRATEGY

Why should I take this course?

How do I get the course?

Fill out the form below, and you will receive an invoice with payment details. Once payment is made, an email with access to the course will be sent to you.

How much does this course cost?

Our Creative Design Course costs a one-time fee of NGN 50,000 only. This fee covers course material and service fees.

Do I get weekly assessments or assignments?

Yes, assignments to be done are included in the course.

Is there a grading system?

Yes, there is a grading system that reveals your strengths and areas you’ll need to work more on.

Do I get a certificate and how long does it take?

Of course, you get a certificate immediately after your project is submitted, approved, and graded. This project is given during the length of the course and it’s expected to be submitted at the completion of the course.

After I complete the course, what next?

You will be added to our Alumni Class where you get tips, challenges, job and volunteering opportunities, and discounts on future training. You also get constant access to more experienced designers who are always happy to help with whatever challenges you might face.
